Sr Master Data Specialist

Project Overview
Wajax is addressing significant product master data-quality issues within its Infor M3 environment, with approximately 80% of the current data requiring remediation. This is a hands-on role focused strictly on cleaning and correcting product data using Wajax’s established standards, business rules and priorities.
The initial phase will focus on product master data remediation. A subsequent phase will support automated vendor data feeds for suppliers including SKF, Kubota and Hitachi.

Responsibilities

• Clean, standardize, enrich and de-duplicate product master data in Infor M3
• Review product records for accuracy, completeness and consistency
• Correct product descriptions, attributes, classifications and hierarchies
• Validate remediated data against Wajax’s established business rules
• Identify and escalate complex data-quality issues
• Perform high-volume data cleansing, validation and mapping
• Support data uploads, reconciliation and quality assurance
• Prepare product data for future vendor-feed integrations
• Track completed records, exceptions and remediation progress
• Document data corrections and repeatable remediation processes

Must Have

• Hands-on MDM or product master data remediation experience
• Experience with Infor M3 or a comparable ERP platform
• Strong understanding of product data, attributes, hierarchies and classifications
• Experience with data cleansing, enrichment, de-duplication and validation
• Strong Excel and data-manipulation skills
• SQL experience is an asset
• Experience supporting ERP, eCommerce or product-catalog initiatives
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume remediation work
• Clear communication and documentation skills
